New signings for Hatters ladies

Luton Town Ladies have made several new additions ahead of the upcoming season, including five U16 players.

Kezia and Abbie have signed from MK Dons, while Morgan and Alisha were playing for county side AFC Kempston last season.

Meanwhile, Rosie White was Woburn’s leading goal scorer and they will add to the club’s existing U16s from last season who all move into adult football this tern.

The arrivals bring a fresh young exciting influx of talent into the adult squad as first team manager Nikki Baker said: Seeing over 30 players at every training session so far is brilliant and the amount of talent on show has been outstanding, especially from some of the youngsters.

“It has been great to see some of the come into the first team sessions with no fear at all and I am excited to see how much impact they can have in the Premier League.”

Meanwhile, with just over a month until the Women’s Premier League, the Hatters are into week three of pre-season.

Friendlies have been lined up against teams including West Ham, Bradford City, Southend United and Stevenage Borough plus a charity event against Nando’s.

The girls are being put through their paces on a Monday and Fridays between 7-9pm at Lancaster Avenue.

The club are also running youth team training sessions for Year 3 upwards on Mondays between 6-7pm for their new youth squads.
