Boxing duo King and Gallagher head to the ring once more
Luton boxer Sam King steps back into the ring on Saturday when he takes on Jack Swallow at the 02 Arena as part of the world title bill hosted live on DAZN.
The 25-year-old, who made his debut almost three years ago, has won six from his seven bouts so far, with one draw, but hasn't fought for nearly 12 months, when he beat Omir Rodriguez on points at York Hall in October 2025. However, King will now put that unbeaten record to the test against his 21-year-old opponent, who comes into the bout with a CV consisting of four wins, 12 defeats and one draw from his 17 fights.

Swallow, from Lancashire, represents a stern test to King’s undefeated start, winning the first three contests when entering the paid ranks, as although he hasn’t triumphed since February of this year, has gone the distance each time, only ever defeated on points. The bout is on the undercard of a superb bill which sees the unbeaten Moses Itauma take on leading contender, Croatian Filip Hrgovic, for the IBF Heavyweight title.
At just 21, Itauma will take a step up by challenging himself against a seasoned opponent who, at 34, has only suffered one defeat, and was previously ranked number one by the IBF, also winning bronze at the 2016 Olympic Games. Itauma, who holds the WBO Intercontinental, WBA International, and Commonwealth titles, will be looking to keep his unbeaten record and world title ambitions firmly on track to solidify his status as the best young heavyweight in the sport.
Promoter Frank Warren said: “This has got all the makings of a classic heavyweight confrontation and we were determined to get it over the line. This fight is the litmus test Moses is ready for and it is the one he wanted. Filip believes it will be too much too soon for the young star, so we will find out on what will be another incredible night for British boxing.
VP of DAZN, Alfie Sharman added: “Fans can expect a huge night of heavyweight action as one of the most feared men in boxing, Moses Itauma takes on elite heavyweight Filip Hrgovic in a pivotal clash with world title implications. Itauma is one of boxing’s brightest young stars, while Hrgovic brings proven world-level experience, making this blockbuster unmissable.”
» Luton fighter Tysie Gallagher is also in action at the weekend as she takes on undefeated American opponent Brandi Robinson in a super bantamweight showdown at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham.
Gallagher, who is the British, Commonwealth and WBO international super-bantamweight title-holder, will go up against her 37-year-old opponent, currently unbeaten in her pro career, with five straight wins, one success coming by KO. The pair are part of a historic night, with every single bout on the main card featuring an elite UK vs USA match-up, including America’s unified WBA and WBC super‑welterweight champion Mikaela Mayer facing Britain’s WBO super‑welterweight champion Chantelle Cameron.
Also, London’s unified lightweight champion Caroline Dubois defends her WBC and WBO belts against American challenger Amelia Moore, with Reina Tellez taking on Jessica Barry and Terri Harper facing Miranda Reyes.
