The event is the most prestigious domestic diving event in the country, with all of the top divers competing for British titles ahead of this summer’s Tokyo Olympics.

Luton head coach Stephen Hewat joined Amy who competed in several events across the weekend, and began on a high in the synchro event, winning a silver medal with partner Holly.

On the 1m board, Amy missed out on a place in the finals by just 1.15 points, after posting an overall score of 208.55, impressing the judges with her inward one-and-a-half by securing more than 50 points for a single dive.

Amy continued to impress in the 3m category, finishing the senior finals in seventh, and winning a junior silver medal, having flown up the board by consistently scoring 50-plus points for her individual dives.

Stephen, one of five coaches to be selected by Swim England for UK Coaching’s Performance Coach Support Programme, said: “It was such a fantastic performance and a great experience competing against the best in Britain.”
