Speaking on his official Twitter page, Udofia said: “My fight this weekend has been called off, there are limited availability of doctors and safety is paramount.

“I want to thank all my sponsors for helping me out for this fight.

“I want to thank all the supporters, it’s been absolutely amazing, we can’t really put all these on without you guys there.

“The next opportunity, I don’t really have an idea right now.

“Next possible dates we’re looking at April, May, even September, nobody knows right now, I’ll keep everyone updated as it all unfolds.

“I just want a massive shout out to my management, Goodwin Promotions, for keeping us updated and working as hard as they can to make these things happen.

“Safety is paramount, so keep yourself safe and a massive shout out for all the support, thank you so much.”
