Palmer impresses again at International Meet
The 21-year-old went in both the 50m and 100m breastroke heats, clocking 29.34secs for 13th in the 50m and then 1.04.52mins in the 100, to finish 15th.
He didn’t reach either final, but on reflection, Palmer said: “It was a good competition and was on par with what I wanted to achieve.

Meanwhile, club-mate Jordan Batson timed 31.42secs in the Men’s Open 50m breastroke heats as he finished 42nd.
