Park fail to tame Lions

STOCKWOOD Park were beaten but not unbowed after their trip to Midlands Two East South league leaders Peterborough Lions at the weekend.

Park were forced into seven changes, with key players Martin Rowe, Paul Harman and Gareth Jones all missing, but put the home side under considerable pressure in the early stages.

However, Peterborough scored first when they gathered a loose ball to touch down for a converted try.
