Park tumble out in first round

ROADWORKS on the M1 were an omen that Stockwood Park would have an unhappy visit to Belgrave in the first round of the Intermediate Cup as they went down to a 31-24 defeat on Saturday.

Park proved to be real ‘pushovers’ as their pack was twice barged over their own line at scrums.

Leading 24-19 with four minutes to go Park somehow contrived to concede two tries in the dying moments and hand victory to their hosts – leaving their coaches lost for words.
