Petanque: Luton seal promotion
Luton won promotion to Division One of the Pennant Midweek League with a 4-1 victory at Celtic Storm (Letchworth) last Tuesday.
The result saw them finish second in Division Two as they finished behind Bird in Hand A Gosmore.
Luton triumphed 3-2 at Cottered on Thursday as they moved closer to safety in Division One of the Three Shires League.
This weekend regional team Chiltern travel to Hayling Island near Portsmouth to defend their national Inter Regional title. Team manager is Luton club member Alan Roden.
