With lots of interest being shown from new and experienced players from across Bedfordshire, head coach Ieuan-Rhys Beal believes the Vipers are in a good place as they look to cement themselves in East RL Division One this year.

He said: “We have worked hard on recruitment, and looked to local clubs to come together and breathe new life into rugby league in the South East.

“Behind the scenes we have a great collective of lads working extremely hard to ensure the Vipers are a
success.“I can’t thank them enough for their dedication.

“The club welcomes players of all abilities and experiences of rugby league, and I look forward to the first session next week.”

The Vipers first pre-season session will take place at Stockwood Park on Wednesday, March 29, starting at 7pm.

The session will be an introduction to the club and rugby league, to support those new to the sport.

The club are still looking for sponsors for their first season back, and welcome all business from across the county.
