Dunstable ditched out of Midlands Intermediate Cup by Bridgnorth beating
Dunstablians were dumped out of the Midlands Intermediate Cup as they were well beaten 55-5 by Bridgnorth in Shropshire on Saturday.
Home advantage proved key as Bridgnorth started brightly and had the majority of the possession in the first half as Dees struggled to get any hold on the game.

Hide AdBridgnorth attacked at every opportunity as their lively backs made inroads into the Dees defence and they recycled the ball well, scoring 29 unanswered points in the first half in front of a large crowd.
Dees were much improved in the second half as they used their solid scrum as a base to attack from.
Young forward Aaron White was Dees’ standout player as he put in numerous hits in defence and made a number of powerful runs.
Despite Dees playing with more purpose, Bridgnorth added another two tries to lead 43-0.

Hide AdThe visitors were finally rewarded when skilful handling by Danny Mills created space out wide and returning winger Matt Anderson raced down the right and beat the covering defenders to score.
The final 10 minutes saw Bridgnorth score two more tries to claim a convincing win.
