St Neots immediately responded with a drive into the Stockwood 22 and scored a try very close to the post which was converted to level the scores at 7-7.

Again Park applied pressure straight from the re-start and, at the 15-minute point, a try out wide scored by Kieran Ryan was the reward.

In the 20th minute a St Neots centre received a yellow card for a high tackle.

This allowed Stockwood to apply even more pressure in the midfield, which enabled Alfie Daly to score a try.

It was now time for St Neots to attack all out.

They were rewarded with two penalties given for offside against Park.

Both were kicked to reduce Stockwood’s lead to 17-13 as the half time whistle blew.

After only two minutes of the second half St Neots took the lead.

Due to some poor attempts at tackling by Park, the home side scored a try wide out which was converted, St Neots sneaking 20-17 in front.

Five minutes later Park, having injected some pace into their game, made some space which allowed Kieran Ryan to score a try in the corner to make it 22-20.

Almost straight from the kick off, Rob Jack received the ball in his own 22 area and then proceeded to weave his way through the whole St Neots team to score in the corner.

There was some breathing space now as Park led 27-20.

This advantage was to be extended further after Park repelled a series of attacks made by the home side.

When finally able to make a serious attack themselves, and following a series of close quarter forward drives, Ben Griffin drove over for a try, Park now 32-20 ahead.

St Neots responded with a well worked try which was not converted, clawing themselves back to within seven points, 32-25.

Another Park attack after 31 minutes of the second half resulted in a Jack Brooks try close to the posts.

This was converted by scrum half Frankie Daly to ensure he was on the score sheet alongside his brother, putting Park 37-25 in front.

Still playing all out, St Neots pushed hard for a score and were rewarded with a try which was converted, making the final score 37-32.

Park are without a fixture this weekend.
