Park ran in six tries in windy conditions to secure a bonus point win and stay neck-and-neck with Stewarts & Lloyds at the top.

Chairman Jason Carr said: “We carried on from last week playing positive rugby.

“In the first half, we battled against the elements and finished them off in the second half, also preventing them from getting a bonus point.”

Park were 12-0 up at half time through two tries from David Keating.

Keating sealed his hat-trick in the second half and further tries were added by in-form fly-half James Hankey and James Pedder, who touched down twice. Carr kicked four conversions for Park.

Park’s players displayed the grittier side to their characters as Mens Own employed their powerful maul as an attacking weapon, only to be repeatedly battered back by a strong Stockwood defence.

Mens Own ran in three second half tries and kicked two conversions.
