Stockwood Park enjoyed a comfortable 43-20 victory over Northampton Mens Own in their Midlands Three East South clash on Saturday, running in seven tries.

Park set the tone with Ben Griffin making a powerful break to put Alex Lovell over for his first.

Kyle Jennings then notched an outstanding try, running with pace and skill to score with full back Jason Carr adding the extras.

A penalty from Mens Own was followed by a try for Park from winger Alex Harnett who has returned to first XV duty after injury.

Carr again converted before Mens Own scored a try to trail 19-10 at the break. In the second half, Ben Griffin scored two quick tries in succession, one of which was converted by Carr.

Further scores from Trevor Fowler and Lovell saw Park ease home despite Mens Own dotting down twice too.

This weekend, Park are at home to Oundle RFC.
