Second string Phil Jenkins squared off against Wayne James, who made life difficult for him.
Winning the second game was the only bright spark for Jenkins, as he was comfortably beaten 3-1.
Fifth strings Matt Carey and Laurie Collick were next up on court, as Carey never got close, succumbing 3-0.

The final match saw first string Matt Mulara open up an eight-point lead over Ben Shakespeare in the first game, who hit back to only lose by a few points.
The second and third games were both close affairs, with each player holding a sizeable lead in one of the games, before Shakespeare eventually won 3-1.
Meanwhile, the seconds had a disappointing journey to Bunyan IIs.
