SQUASH: LDSC duo Sophia and Lily star for Chiltern U13s
In the U11 team tournament the lack of depth was exposed as Natalie Main, from LDSC ran amok for Chiltern, not dropping a game all day.
Sadly, the England ranked number two player, found little support from her team-mates outside their match against a weak Suffolk side.

Hide AdSunday saw an individual event, the Kenilworth Open, where there were great performances from all three LDSC players.
First up was Natalie Main, playing in the U13 category despite still being aged only 10.
Main faced her conqueror from the recent SIP Chiltern Open, Lucia Avery and the match couldn’t have been closer with all three going to tie-breaks, sadly for Main, she lost out 2-1.
Next up was her elder sibling Lily against local Hannah Rowley. Rowley showed too much pace and power and whilst Main fought well in the second, succumbed 2-0.

In the plate Lily Main showed tremendous fighting spirit to come back from a game down to beat Emily Jones 2-1.
At the same time Natalie Main disposed of the awkward left-hander, Jessica Johnson to set up a final match against her elder sister.
In the main draw final Sophia John took an early lead and looked on course to beat the very talented Danni Kallar, however, a loss of focus combined with Kallar’s impressive mental toughness saw her lose the first in a tie-break.

In the plate final the Main sisters faced off with all expectations of the fireworks and lengthy battles that have been the norm in recent battles between the pair.
However, Lily seemed a bit out of sorts as Natalie cruised to an unusually comfortable 2-0 win.
