SQUASH: Lust reaches final four
Luton squash player Victoria Lust reached her first ever semi-final at the National Championships in Manchester at the weekend.
The 25-year-old, ranked 31 in the world, defeated qualifier Alison Thomson 11-4, 11-6, 11-6 in round one, before beating world number 14 Perry 8-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-9.
However, she was then beaten 11-4, 11-7, 11-8 by Laura Massaro, who lost in the final of Sarah-Jane Perry.

Hide AdSpeaking on her efforts to reach the last four, Lust said: “I’m very happy, that was a great result for me.
“It’s tough playing someone as experienced as Madeline, she knows how to close out the games.
“I could feel myself getting edgy, but I managed to stick in and get through in the end.”
