St Margaret’s girls team triumph
St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Primary School’s Year 6 girls team triumphed at the Luton Schools Six-A-Side tournament in emphatic fashion.
They conceded just once in seven matches and came back from a goal down to beat Foxdell Juniors School 2-1 in the final. St Margaret’s girls then went on to win the Bedfordshire County Cup against some tough opponents from larger middle schools, beating St Gregory’s Catholic Middle School in the final on penalties.
The team was Charlotte Motto, Katy O’Brien, Molly McDaid, Shauna Tebbutt, Tashana Gregory, Laara Blake, Louise Rose and Cristina Victor.
