
Keating, who represented Saints, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire and East Midlands, who he captained, in a long and illustrious playing career has coached East Midlands for the past seven years as well as a number of club and representative sides and the National Fire Service.
He has also been voted RFU Junior Coach Of The Year and nominated for the prestigious Sports Coach UK award.
Keating will be supported by an experienced coaching team and will commence training every Tuesday and Thursday evening from the first pre-season session on July 3.
He said: “I am delighted to be invited to lead the coaching project at Stockwood Park and excited at the prospects of taking a young and enthusiastic group of players into the season.”
