Success for young ace Dalvi
Young tennis player Nadeem Dalvi won the Bedfordshire County Closed Mini Orange U9 tournament recently.
Dalvi, who only turned nine in September, is also impressing in badminton too, as he played in the Cambridge Open tournament at the weekend and took gold in the boys doubles event and silver in the U11 boys singles.
The National Badminton tournament organised by Badminton England starts in October and in his first season last year, Dalvi finished in the top 15 in England, even though he was only eight.
The Barnfield Moorlands pupil is hoping to finish in the top 10 this time and has set his sights on being crowned national champion at U11 in two years’ time.
