Eleanor King, 15, represented DSC within the qualifying window at a number of swim meets including Luton, Basildon and Plymouth and qualified for English Home Nation Championships in the 50m backstroke.

Emily Ridout, 21, achieved some excellent personal best times at the Cardiff International Swim Meet to qualify for British Championships in 50m breaststroke and 50m freestyle.

Competition to qualify was extremely fierce and these and a number of team members were very close to qualifying in a number of other events.

With qualifiers in each age group having less than a second between the personal best times of those who will be competing at the Nationals, all swimmers will be working very hard to prepare for their events as director of swimming, Tim Hutton said: “It’s an absolutely huge achievement for Ellie, Emily and Harry.
