SWIMMING: Olympian visits Dunstable SC

Olympic swimmer Craig Gibbons, who competed at London 2012, took a session at Dunstable SC last week.

He spent two hours with the children, split into two sessions, the first with the development, transition and sprint squads and the second with the competition and performance squads.

Gibbons largely spent time on the freestyle stroke, going over head positions and hand techniques to help the swimmers go faster.

He then took to the pool and showed the swimmers the perfect start where he performed a terrific dive off the blocks.

Gibbons stayed after the session to sign autographs and have his photo taken with the youngsters.
