SWIMMING: Putteridge SC at their best

Putteridge SC swimmers set 43 personal bests at the Hitchin Open Meet last Sunday.

A total 21 members took part in 13 events, swimming in 63 races as the club claimed seven first places, nine seconds and five thirds, with Alfie Warnock, JJ Wilde and Lauren Simpkins all triumphing. Head Coach Lesley Batson said: “I was very pleased for all the swimmers to achieve personal bests and medals.”
