SWIMMING: Team Luton celebrate
Team Luton celebrated a magnificent 2013 at their annual presentation night as trophies, club records and awards went to swimmers aged eight to 50.
The year started well with the Bedfordshire County Championships in February and March as Nathan Swift triumphed in the boys 11-year-old category. Daniel Flemons and Erin McNally took silver in the same age group, while thirds went to Eoin Compton in the 10-year-old age group and Kiera McNally in the 13- year-old age group.
In total, Team Luton collected 187 medals, 64 gold, 70 silver and 53 bronze, earning them third place.
