Team GB swimmers are set to compete at the Inspire Luton gala

Three Team GB Olympic and Paralympic swimmers are set to compete at Team Luton’s second annual long course meet at Inspire at the weekend.

Multiple Olympic gold medallist from Beijing and London, and world record holder over several distances, Ellie Simmonds, is the star attraction.

Dan Fogg, who competed for Team GB over 1,500m and in open water in London 2012 and is the national record holder over 400m, 800m and 1,500m freestyle, plus London 2012 Paralympian James Hollis will also be in action.

Following the huge success of the first meet where records were broken, demand has been even greater this time around.

The massively over-subscribed event will feature 650 swimmers competing across all disciplines and distances.

Swimming starts at 9am on both days and tickets can be purchased on the door at £3 per session or £5 for the day (three sessions).
