Team gold for Peters on England debut
Stopsley Striders’ Louise Peters took home a gold medal from her England debut last Saturday at the British & Irish Masters Cross-Country International in Belfast.
Producing a strong and consistent run over the 6km course, Peters secured an individual sixth place, finishing 11 seconds ahead of her nearest rival.
Peters’ performance helped England to first place in the team event, holding off a strong challenge from hosts Ireland.
