On the track the middle distance girls were in great form starting with a double victory in the 800m races for Revee Walcott-Nolan in 2.14.4mins and Rosie Keane in 2.25.6mins.

Walcott-Nolan also finished fourth in the 400m A race in 59.3secs with Amalia Edwards taking a fine win in the B race in 1.01.4mins.

Another double victory followed in the 3,000m races where Claire McMahon performed well to win in 10.57.7mins and Jasmine Watson, on her debut in the event, won the B race in 11.35.8mins.

McMahon went on to finish second in the 1,500m in 5.11.3mins and Watson took victory in the B race in 5.19.9mins.

Hannah Farmer came third in the 400m hurdles in 1.19.5mins, before winning the 1,500m steeplechase, clocking 5.40.0mins.

In the sprints, Alicia Sinclair was second in the 100m A race in 13secs with Kayanna Reid winning the B event in 13.2secs.

Reid went on to take third place in the 200m in 26.7secs with new recruit Jazmine Barnett fourth in the B race.

In the field, Shanara Hibbert finished second in the long jump, leaping 5.18m, while Barnett came second in the B string with 4.27m.

Niamh O’Connor was fourth in the A string triple jump with 9.23m and high jump with 1.20m.

The throws saw Jo Blair in excellent form, taking victory in the A javelin with 42.52m, winning female Athlete of the Match for the second time this season and also triumphing the B discus with 27.02m.

Suzanna Wise had a busy day, finishing second in the A discus with 31.10m and fourth in the B javelin with 17.76m.

She also won the hammer with 38.06m, while new recruit Victoria Hill came second in the B string with 24.11m.

Hill was also third in the shot with a throw of 9.25m and Wise came second in the B string with 7.92m.

Wise then went on to finish second in the pole vault, fourth in the B high jump and third in the B 1,500m steeplechase in 8.14.4mins.

The 4x100m relay team of Barnett, O’Connor, Keane and Watson were third, while the 4x400m relay squad ended second as Keane, Blair, Walcott-Nolan and Farmer clocked 4.17.7mins.

In the men’s competition, the throwers were in fine form as despite suffering with an injury, Dave Burrell managed first place in A hammer with 40.92m, second in the A shot (11.27m), second in A discus (35.28m) and second in the A javelin with 37.34m. Burrell was well supported in the B Shot by Matt Hill who won with 11.18m and also took second in the B Hammer with 19.23m.

Aderian Bright was second in B discus with 29.87m and Ian Hoube came third in the B javelin with 22.52m.

There was a fine double victory in the long jump for Ezra Leonce and Ola Fisayo with efforts of 6.19m and 5.79m respectively.

Leonce was also second in the A string triple jump with 12.92m, Josh Abraham-Steele came second also in the B string with 10.75m, while Abraham-Steele was third in the pole vault with 2.70m.

On the track, there was a double victory in the 5,000m for Nathaniel Quigley and Daniel Clorley as they both crossed the line in 14.47mins to jointly break the League and Division record.

In the 400m hurdles, Tom Doe ran 1.13.3mins for fourth place in the A race, while Danny Bottesch finished second in the B race in 1.10.2mins.

In the sprints, Jordan Warner was fourth in the A 100m in 11.7secs with Bright third in the B race in 12secs.

Bright was also fourth in the A 200m in 23.7secs, while Emmanuel Owolabi was fourth in the B race in 25.2secs.

Nick Choudhury and Abraham-Steele were both third in the 400m races, with 50.2secs and 53.7secs respectively.

In the 800m races, Simon Cherry came fourth in the A race in 2.09.3mins and Harry Lander was third in the B race in 2.14.1mins.

The 1,500m races saw Tom Canham third in the A race in 5.00mins and an injured Josh Bada fill in to take third in the B race in 5.37.6mins.

Finally, the 4x100m relay squad came a close second in 46secs and the 4x400m team were third 3.40.8mins.
