Youngsters make a racket at first-ever Beds Junior Open

Almost 100 of England’s finest young squash players descended on Luton and Dunstable Squash Club’s home, The Lewsey Sports Park, to contest the first ever Beds Junior Open, an England Squash and Racketball Bronze Sanctioned event at the weekend.

Some fine matches took place with the finals of the U15 and U17 boys competitions in particular reaching exciting finishes.

LDSC members Sam McCoy and Amy Rigby ensured that there was some success for the host club as they won the U15 Plate competitions.
