String quartet to play first concert of year in the town
The club is welcoming the Piatti String Quartet for the opening concert of the new year on Saturday, January 30.
Prizewinners in the 2015 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet competition, the Piatti Quartet is now established as one of the leading ensembles in Europe.

Hide AdThey have performed in all the major venues around the country, including a live BBC Radio 3 broadcast from the Wigmore Hall.
The quartet has also appeared in Italy, Australia, Spain, Austria, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey and Holland, with national broadcasts on ABC (Australia) and RTE (Ireland) radio.
Their concert at Leighton’s Library Theatre includes three great masterpieces of the repertoire, quartets by Mozart – the Prussian Quartet K 589 – Ravel and Dvorak – his Quartet in G, Op.106, one of his most glorious late works.
The concert is to be held at the Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre with the doors opening at 6.45pm and the entertainment starting at 7.30pm.

Hide AdTickets for the show cost £13 for adults, £11.50 for LB music friends and £5 for LB music students. Entrance for children under the age of 16 is free.
