'The most personal thing I’ve ever made': Luton lad Myles Smith releases debut album
Luton singer-songwriter, Myles Smith, has unveiled his debut album ‘My Mess, My Heart, My Life’ after performing in the town earlier this week.
The 28-year-old held a free gig for fans in St George’s Square on Monday (June 15) where he performed for crowds in the sunshine.

Myles shot to fame in 2024 when his song Stargazing went platinum in 16 countries, has over two billion streams globally. Since then, he had toured the world, supported Ed Sheeran on countless stages and has finally dropped the highly anticipated album.
Myles said: “This album is the most personal thing I’ve ever made. It came from looking back at old therapy notes, memories and experiences that shaped who I am, and trying to make sense of them through music.
"Every song reflects a different part of that journey - family, love, loss, mental health and self-discovery.”
The 15 tracks paint a picture of Myles, his upbringing, grief and self-acceptance.
Speaking to the Luton News, he said: “[The album] is just about existing and being human. I wrote it to be a blank canvas for people to paint their own stories on.”
