Primary school children can grow out of their clothes in what seems like no time, meaning replacing uniform several times a year can quickly become expensive. At Cutenhoe Hill, families are not required to buy branded uniform, helping parents shop around for affordable alternatives.

The school’s main uniform colour is red, and uniform items can be bought from a range of local high-street shops and supermarkets. Even the school’s red book bags do not need to carry the school logo.

The school is also supporting the Level Trust Uniform Exchange in Luton, - https://leveltrust.org/school-uniform/ - giving families another affordable way to access good-quality school clothing. A collection bin is available in the school reception, allowing families to donate uniform that their children have outgrown so it can be passed on to others.

The Uniform Exchange offers second-hand school uniform at very affordable prices — helping families save money while also giving unwanted uniform a new lease of life.

Affordable uniform. Less pressure on family budgets. More reuse and less waste.
