The exhibition will take place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026 at Grand Royale LU2 0AH between 12-8pm, bringing together a wide range of businesses, food vendors and family entertainment across the weekend.

The event was created to give halal businesses an affordable platform to showcase their products, meet customers face-to-face and reach a wider audience.

Event organiser Summar Shah said the aim for the second year is to build on what was learned from the first event and continue improving the experience for both businesses and visitors.

He said: “Last year was our first year, so naturally we learned a lot from it. We had a really good response from businesses and the community, and this year we want to build on that and make the event bigger and better.

“The main reason behind the exhibition was to give businesses, especially smaller and growing brands, an affordable platform where they can meet customers in person, promote what they do and get their name out there.

“We also want it to be something families can enjoy together, with shopping, food, entertainment and activities all in one place.”

The exhibition is expected to feature businesses across modest fashion, food and desserts, beauty, jewellery, gifts, homeware and a variety of other products and services.

Alongside the shopping exhibition, there will also be a food festival, children's activities and entertainment, with the aim of creating a full family day out.

Businesses from Luton and across the UK are being encouraged to take part, with organisers hoping to introduce visitors to both established brands and smaller independent businesses they may not have come across before.

The long-term aim is for the exhibition to become a regular annual event for the town, while continuing to support independent businesses and entrepreneurs, with plans to soon bring similar events to more towns and cities across the country.

Summar added:

“Luton has a strong and diverse business community and there are so many good businesses here. At the same time, we want to bring businesses from outside the town into Luton and give people the chance to discover something new.

“The long-term aim is to keep growing the exhibition each year and create an event that businesses want to be part of and families look forward to attending.”

The Luton Halal Shopping Exhibition 2026 will take place on 17–18 October at Grand Royale, Luton, LU2 0AH.
