Santa Claus is bringing his Christmas magic to charity’s Little Bramingham Farm in Luton
The Residents and care team at Little Bramingham Farm, the award-winning Luton-based residential care home run by charity, Friends of the Elderly, are excited to announce that they are hosting the Big Man himself, Santa, Mrs Claus and some of his Elves, to the care home’s very own North Pole Workshop on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December for the home’s annual Community Christmas Winter Wonderland event.

On Saturday 5th December and Sunday 5th December from 11am to 4pm, the pretty Log Cabin at Little Bramingham Farm will be magical transformed into a replica of Santa’s North Pole Workshop where he and Mrs Claus – plus his mischievous elves – will be spending two days meeting and chatting to the residents and local children.

“We always like to keep in touch with Santa and Mrs Claus and contacted them during their summer holiday to ask if they had a gap in their busy pre-Christmas preparations to coming along to Little Bramingham Farm and meet the residents and local children,” said Emma Lawrance, the Registered Manager at Little Bramingham Farm. “Quicker than you could say, ‘Ho, Ho, Ho’, Big Red responded saying that even though it’s the run up to his busiest night of the year, he wouldn’t miss seeing everyone and getting the Christmas Spirit flowing and the Yuletide season off to a ‘Santa-riffic’ start.”
Santa, Mrs Claus and the cheeky Christmas Elves won’t be alone in the Workshop as none other than The Grinch will be around, making mischief and having fun with everyone. “The Grinch will be staying with us until he has to return to his girlfriend, Martha May, his dog, Max and chum, Cindy-Lou Who in Whoville in time for Christmas Eve,” added Karen Charity, the Activities Coordinator at Little Bramingham Farm.

“There will be a range of ‘Christmas-tastic’ fun activities for the residents and local children to enjoy in our Glitzy Gazebo, creating Reindeer food for Christmas Eve and decorating Gingerbread men,” continued Emma.
“Susie’s Tea Room, which is located in the care home’s ‘Be-yule-tiful’ gardens, will be Winter Wonderland seasonally decorated and open for everyone to purchase tasty festive cakes, treats and, of course, warming drinks,” said Karen.

“We are all looking forward to welcoming many members of our local community, old friends and new, to our Community Santa’s Grotto – we know it will be full of festive fun laughter, cheer and a ‘tinsel-tastic’ way to start the most magical time of the year,” concluded Emma.
