Stockwood Discovery Centre to be transformed into Santa's magical workshop this Christmas
Christmas is coming to Stockwood Discovery Centre in Luton this December with a magical workshop experience filled with hands-on activities and a personal meeting with Santa.
Organised by Luton charity The Culture Trust, Santa at Stockwood runs from December 11 to 24, when the Discovery Centre will be transformed with twinkling lights, Christmas trees and festive displays set among its historic collection of horse-drawn carriages.
Guided by Cha Cha the cheeky elf, children can write their Christmas wish lists and post them in a special postbox, create festive keepsakes and use the Reindeer Food Maker Machine to prepare a treat for Rudolph and his friends. The experience also includes a personal meeting with Santa on his sleigh, where children will receive a special gift and families can capture their own festive photographs.
Luton-born actor and storyteller Aaron Spendelow, who has a background in theatre and immersive storytelling and is known to families through his work on Stockwood Discovery Centre's popular annual Garden Party, will help bring the event to life.
Tickets for an adult and child start from £27.50, including booking fee.
Free parking is available at Stockwood Discovery Centre, while the on-site café will be open for families to purchase food, drinks and snacks during their visit.
