See ‘genius’ young guitarist
Laurence Jones will be playing with his band at the Public Halls in Harpenden on Tuesday September 15. The 23-year-old has been hailed by Guitar & Bass magazine as “a guitar hero in the making, and for many decades to comes” and by Classic Rock magazine as “the complete package”.
Laurence was influenced by the likes of Walter Trout, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher and Albert Collins. He has already clocked up some serious road miles touring throughout the UK and Europe and in 2013, Walter Trout invited Laurence and his band to play as support on their UK tour. Walter said: “Laurence is a cross between Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy – he is a genius.”
