Adults with learning difficulties art and craft sessions. Every Wednesday morning 10.30am to 12.30pm and Saturday morning 11am to 1pm at Arttrend, Arundel Road, Luton. Thousands are expected to flock to Knebworth Park over the weekend of August annual Country Show. The show is open from 10am to 5pm (last entry 4pm). Admission costs £9.50, with a family ticket £ 34. See page 23 for details.

Fans of funk, Latin and soul can head to The Victoria, Hitchin. Marcus Hurley will help guests find their dancing shoes. The first set starts at 4pm. DJs on the night include Marcus J Hurley, Julian Rochfort, Rob Hague and Erbalist. The event is being run by Rhythms of the World, which organises an annual world music festival.

The familiar saying ‘everything is bigger in Texas’ comes to mind when describing powerhouse country vocalist and Texas native, SaraBeth. Born and raised in Dallas, she is a contemporary country singer-songwriter who is making her mark in Nashville as the sweetly southern artist with an edge. Few British people have enjoyed success in country music the way Glen Mitchell has. Since moving to Nashville in 2001, Glen has toured with many of Nashville’s finest artists, playing lead guitar and on many occasions taking the role of band leader for artists that include Billy Currington, Frankie Ballard, Lonestar, Joe Nichols and Chely Wright, among others.
