Coronavirus latest: Breakdown in each area of Luton in seven days to January 7

The country entered the New Year in its third lockdown, while Chief Medical Officer Prof Chris Whitty has stated the peak of virus is yet to come.

The highest case rates in the town are currently to be found in Kingsway (1,356) and Leagrave (1,204.6), while the lowest rates are now in Stopsley North (628.2) and Warden Hill (651.4).

Warden Hill previously had the second highest case rates in the borough at 902 in the last count.
