People living near a recycling centre in Luton have been told to keep their doors and windows closed as Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service deals with a large fire on the site.

Fire crews were called to a blaze at F&R Crawley, in Covent Garden Close, this morning (Monday).

The service said: “Wingate Road and Malham Close are also currently closed. We expect to beat the incident for the next few hours.”
