Luton and Dunstable restaurants among semi-finalists for British Kebab Awards - and they need your vote
Luton and Dunstable restaurants are among the semi-finalists in this year’s British Kebab Awards and are now looking for your votes to reach the finals of the competition.
Savci Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant of Hitchin Street, Luton, has been shortlisted in the Best Kebab Restaurant (South England) category, with Efes BBQ of High Street North Dunstable making the cut in the Best Value Restaurant category.

The awards are now in their 15th year and celebrate the contribution that the UK kebab industry makes to the national economy.
Ibrahim Doğuş, founder of the British Kebab Awards, said: “Reaching our semi-finals is a genuine achievement, and in our milestone 15th year it is a proud moment for Luton and the hard-working families behind these businesses, who are part of the fabric of their communities.”

“For 15 years, the British Kebab Awards have celebrated the hard-working families, entrepreneurs and employees behind one of Britain’s favourite dishes.
“These are people who have built successful businesses, created jobs and become an important part of the communities they serve.
“Being named a semi-finalist is a significant achievement. Each business now has until 15 October to tell its story, engage with its customers and community, and secure as many public votes as possible.
“This milestone year is our biggest and most ambitious yet.”
“I congratulate every semi-finalist and wish them the very best with their campaigns. We look forward to revealing the finalists on 15 October and celebrating the achievements of this remarkable industry at our gala ceremony in February.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Park Plaza Hotel in London on February 23, 2027.
