Police hunting suspects in Dunstable who fled from scene of 'gunshot'
Police are hunting down suspects in Dunstable who fled from Leighton Buzzard after reports of a gun fired.
The force was called to Grebe Drive, Leighton Buzzard, shortly before 3.30pm yesterday (November 4) as a nearby school was put in lockdown.

A police chase followed as officers identified a vehicle believed to have been at the scene – ending in a crash on Porz Avenue, Dunstable.
A Bedfordshire Police spokesperson explained: "Officers indicated for the driver to stop and a pursuit ensued. The car came to a stop in , when it collided with an unrelated vehicle.
"One man was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
"The occupants of the suspect vehicle fled the scene on foot – a search of the area is currently underway."
Porz Avenue remains closed between Boscombe Way and Lovatt Road roundabout while emergency services respond to the collision.
People are asked to avoid the area at this time and seek alternative routes if driving.
Additional scene guards are in place in Grebe Drive and on the A505, and police say they will be in the area ‘all day’.
A concerned Leighton Buzzard parent claimed: "I have two children who walk across town to two different schools and are rightly looking to me for reassurance. I have nothing.
"They were briskly ushered home from school [yesterday] flanked by their friend’s parents – unusual behaviour as they would usually walk from school with friends."
Bedfordshire Police stated: "We understand this is a concerning incident but would like to reassure the public that a strong police presence will remain while initial enquiries take place."
