The Father Teds, a five-piece group, have performed across the UK and Europe over the past three decades, building a reputation for their energetic live performances and Irish folk music.

And as they celebrate 30 years in the business, they will share the stage with Missing The Ferry, a Luton band with a dedicated following whose music reflects their second-generation Irish heritage.

Missing the Ferry released Luton You’re a Lady earlier this year, a song celebrating the town’s culture and community.

Frontman Paul Anderson said: “We are absolutely buzzing for this one. Having a legendary band like The Father Teds come down to celebrate their 30th anniversary at The Hat Factory is massive for Luton.

“For us, Irish music isn't just about the tunes; it’s about community, storytelling, and celebrating our shared second-generation Irish identity.”

The gig will take place at The Hat Factory Arts Centre in Luton, with tickets available through the Culture Trust website.
