Luton care home shows appreciation for emergency services

Cara Morley-Dunn, the activities co-ordinator at Capwell Grange, invited the emergency services to the care home's clap for carers on Thursday night to show their appreciation for everything they do.
Officers from Bedfordshire Police and firefighters from Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were invited to the retirment home in Leagrave on Thursday as the community came together to show their gratitude for key workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Hide AdCara said: "Everyone who knows me knows how much I love my residents and I would always go out my way to entertain them.
"So tonight (Thursday) I organised for the 999 services to attend for our NHS clap and key workers clap and I can’t thank them enough for everything they do for us and even during this pandemic COVID-19.
"I also went into the community to gather people to join our clap and it was a brilliant turn out and atmosphere.
"I did this to put the smile back on peoples faces with this difficult time from the pandemic."
