Voters go to polls tomorrow in by-election for Houghton Regis town councillor
Voters of Parkside ward in Houghton Regis are due to decide which of four candidates will be elected to the town council tomorrow (Thursday, July 9).
A by-election was requested after town councillor Pam Burgess decided to resign in May, saying she thought “more might have been achieved in our ward”.
The four candidates hoping to top the poll are Hannah Bailey representing Reform UK, Lisa Barry for the Labour Party, Catherine Clay standing for the Green Party, and Sarah King, who contests the vacant seat for the Liberal Democrats.
Voting is from 7am to 10pm tomorrow.
