Legg suffers quickfire Joshua defeat
Shamrock BC’s Matt Legg suffered a first round defeat against British Olympic champion Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium last night.
The pair were fighting on the undercard of the Carl Froch versus George Groves bout, but Legg, 38, who trains in Luton, was knocked down with a right uppercut after just 83 seconds of their heavyweight fight.
Legg now has a record of seven wins and three defeats, while for Joshua, 24, it was his sixth straight success.
