The tournament is held to celebrate Pakistan’s independence and 10 teams from Luton were joined by sides from Leeds, Bedford, Watford, Slough and Northampton.

Because of rain the final was decided on one super over and Luton Pakistanis scored 13-1 against Global Stars’ 13-2 as Pakistanis won on fewer wickets lost.

Guest of honour Councillor Raja Mohammed Aslam Khan presented the awards afterwards.
