Barnett on target as seventh-placed Blues win yet again

DUNSTABLE Town made it back-to-back wins with a 2-1 Molten Spartan SML Premier victory over Haringey Borough at Creasey Park on Tuesday night.

Despite the absence of veteran keeper Paul Taylor, whose place went to full-back James Potter, Town took the lead three minutes into the second half when Dale Turney collected a neat through ball to finish. Borough levelled on 63 minutes through Liam Farrell, but Town pressed for a second goal as Luke Lincoln hit the post.

Dunstable’s winner eventually came with just seven minutes left as Jonathan Barnett netted direct from a free-kick.
