All the odds as Hatters travel to Hartlepool

Luton Town travel to Victoria Park, Hartlepool this weekend four points off Wycombe who top the League Two table.

The Hatters are a best priced 12/1 (as short as 7s with some firms) for the title and 5/2 to gain back-to-back promotions at the end of the season.

Manager John Still gave Alex Lawless his first start of the campaign against Southend and was rewarded with a terrific opener; the midfielder is 12/1 at BetVictor to find the first goal against Pools and 17/4 to score at any time.

Mark Cullen scored his fourth goal of the season last weekend and is 50/1 to be named the division’s top goalscorer with Matt Tubbs, on a season-long loan from Bournemouth at AFC Wimbledon, the current 4/1 favourite.

Town are 13/10 for the win with the hosts’ 11/5 and the draw 13/5. Pools are only two points from the foot of the Football League but they were good value for their win at Exeter last weekend and know they are fighting to maintain their FL status.

Pools are still without a manager after the resignation of Colin Copper and former Carlisle manager Graham Kavanagh is 6/4 to take over with caretaker Sam Collins 7/4 and 16s Bar.

The Hatters recent run can be put into perspective by showing that on the 20th they were 3/1 to finish the campaign in the top seven in the table and thus be guaranteed the minimum of a play-off spot and they are now 2/5 after their cracking run. Long may it continue.

It’s a long journey to Hartlepool let’s hope John Still and all Hatters’ fans are celebrating another three points on Saturday night.
