Clark and Makosso are the big winners at Hatters' awards evening
Town duo scoop a number of prizes along with goalkeeper Kaminski
Luton Town midfielder Jordan Clark was the big winner at the Luton Town Supporters’ Trust awards night, as he walked away with four trophies on the evening.
The 31-year-old, who has made 177 appearances for the club, scoring 17 goals, since arriving on a free transfer from Accrington Stanley under former boss Nathan Jones in the summer of 2020, started off by unsurprisingly claiming the Goal of the Season honour for his stunning volley in the 2-1 victory at Cardiff City recently. He then landed the Junior Supporters’ Player of the Season prize, before walking off with the two main awards, named the Trust’s Player of the Year, along with the Players’ Player as well.
January signing Makosso, who has starred during his 11 appearances after joining from Belgian side RWD Molenbeek, claimed the SoLYD Young Player of the Season award, while he also picked up the Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu Signing the Season too. Goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski, who was sadly unable to attend the evening having flown back to Belgium following the death of his father Jacek, won the Ian Pearce Memorial Trophy, given to the player who received the most man-of-the-match awards in home games by the Luton News, plus the Bobbers Travel Club away player of the season.

Finally, outgoing Trust chairman Tony Murray received the Trust’s outstanding contribution award, the Kevin Catlin Memorial Trophy, for his work that had seen him dedicate 20 years of service to the Trust.
