EXCLUSIVE: Hatters confirm Benson approach

Benson was linked with a move to Kenilworth Road on Friday and when asked about the rumours, Still said: “There’s been an enquiry, but that’s the stage we’re at at the moment.

“We’re just waiting to hear from them.”

Managing director Gary Sweet also confirmed that the acquisition of the Swindon forward was something the club were looking to make happen.

He added: “Yes, we have made enquiries but as ever the deal has to be right for all parties involved.”
