Luton saw their four game Championship run ended in a disappointing manner, hammered 4-0 by Cardiff City on Saturday. Town were 2-0 behind inside just nine minutes, with the hosts adding two more in the second period to complete the rout. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 3
Defender went to ground hoping for a free kick as City got their afternoon off to a perfect start with the opening goal and it just went downhill form there, struggling against Moore as Cardiff dominated aerially inside Town’s box.
6. Ryan Tunnicliffe: 3
Restored to the side, but didn’t do anywhere near enough to cut out the cross from Ojo for Harris to make it 2-0 and virtually put the game beyond Luton early on. Couldn't influence proceedings much afterwards, eventually replaced.
7. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (STAR MAN): 5.5
Made an excellent tracking run and block on Moore early on to prevent the striker scoring. Lovely defence-splitting pass for Mpanzu’s shot and was probably the best that Town had to offer on a difficult day in Wales.
8. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 3.5
Went closer than most as his shot forced Smithies into a decent stop moments after Town fell 2-0 behind. Hooked by Jones before half-time though with Luton already staring defeat in the face.
