Luton slumped to a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Derby County on Good Friday. The visitors conceded goals early in each half as Wayne Rooney's side picked up a valuable victory in their bid to stay in the Championship this term. To find out how Town rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Glen Rea: 3.5
Started in the middle of a back three but never looked comfortable, losing Gregory for the opener. Town’s best spell came when he was in the holding role, but conceded a penalty moments after half time and was taken off before the hour.
6. Kal Naismith: 5
Managed the aerial threats of the Rams’ strikeforce fairly well as Town didn’t concede a whole host of chances during the game. Impressed on the floor once more bar one blip that saw Derby almost break through.
7. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (STAR MAN): 6
Tried to get the Hatters going from midfield as well as anyone and one break saw him put the ball on a plate for Adebayo, while another corner was headed wide by the forward. Kept his cool after being manhandled by Byrne as well.
8. Ryan Tunnicliffe: 4.5
Wasn’t involved in proceedings too much as Derby managed the game well, giving their opponents little space in which to work with. Couldn't ever demonstrate the forward runs he has done in recent encounters.
